First, you have to buy all of your ingredients. Typically, these include russet potatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, along with butter and parsley to garnish. Next, turn your smoker to around 225 degrees F. Experiment with different woods to see which flavor you like best. Wash and dry your potatoes, and stick them with a fork to relieve pressure and moisture while they cook. Season them. Put them on the smoker and close the lid for about two to three hours.
